When I started the construction project for the granite counter tops, I had no idea where to buy the brackets needed to support the granite. I found your site on the internet and made a phone call. I was very happy with the brackets I received. They were perfect for my application of holding up our breakfast bar made of granite. The parts shipped when you said they would. The quality of the fabrication was very good. I mounted them with lag screws into studs. The brackets were pretty heavy, so I did not think any attachment to drywall would have worked. It was really hard to find brackets for this application that had any style. It saved my hundreds of dollars by having the granite machined to my drawing; I did the install myself. The kitchen and bath companies would not sell me anything that did not involve them coming to my house.

While awaiting counter top fabrication and installation, we used 3/8" x 3-1/2" lag bolts to fasten the vertical legs of the L brackets to the island wall. These bolts go through the 5/8" plywood sheathing on the wall face and well into the underlying 2" x 4" studs. Once the 5/8" plywood decking was installed we tested to see if there was any deflection in the plywood or brackets. There was none; everything was very, very solid. When the counter top installation team arrived they were impressed by the strength of your brackets as were the porcelain tile installers. They wanted to know where I got them; I gave both crews your company's name...We are very pleased with the outcome. Better yet family, friends and neighbors have been saying "wow".
